At Rain, we prioritize transparency, reliability, and security in every transaction. While deposits typically follow standard banking timelines, occasional delays may arise due to external factors.
When you make a deposit request on Rain, you will receive an estimated deposit date based on the time you initiated the transfer from your bank. Processing times vary as follows:
Bahrain deposits: Arrive within 1 business day.
GCC deposits: Arrive within 1 to 4 business days.
Turkiye deposits: Arrive within 1 business day.
Here are some scenarios that can cause your deposit to take longer than the estimated time:
Transfers on weekends and official holidays
Deposits made on weekends or public holidays may be delayed, as banks remain closed during these periods. Transfers will be processed on the next business day.
You did not complete the transfer
In order for you to complete a deposit request on Rain, you are required to manually transfer the funds from your bank account to Rain using the banking information we provide you. You can read more about this step here.
Missing information from the bank
When you complete the transfer from your bank, the bank sends the transfer information to us so we can credit it to the correct customer. However, sometimes banks send the transfer without the needed information or with incorrect information. This causes a delay as we wait for your bank to correct the information so that we credit you the amount.
Information mismatch
When you make the deposit request on Rain, you will select a bank account to make the transfer from. When you make the transfer, you need to make sure that you are using the same bank account that you had selected in the deposit request. Failing to do so will cause delays in crediting your deposit due to information mismatch.
Name doesn't match
When you make a deposit request, you are required to only use a bank account that is in your name. The name on your bank account should also match the name on your Rain account. If there is a name mismatch, this can cause delays in your transfer.
