At Rain, we ensure that you receive the exact amount we receive in our bank account for deposits. However, intermediary banks may charge fees for international transfers. These fees are not collected by Rain. Here’s what you need to know:
Transfers from within Bahrain
Local transfers from Bahrain through Fawri and Fawri+ are free of charge, the exact amount you transfer will be credited to your account. Click here for more information about depositing funds using Fawri and Fawri+.
International transfers
Deposits from outside Bahrain may incur additional bank charges. As a result, the amount received in our bank account may be lower than what was originally sent.
To minimize international transfer fees, consider the following:
Send the correct currency. Ensure the transfer currency matches the currency in your deposit request to avoid conversion fees.
Be aware of intermediary bank fees. Your bank may use an intermediary to process the transfer, which could reduce the final amount received.
For example, if US Dollar (USD) is the default currency of your Rain account and you requested a deposit in USD, make sure to:
Choose the correct currency (USD) while adding our USD bank account details to your beneficiary list.
Use the correct IBAN, as each currency has a different IBAN.
Choose the correct currency (USD) when transferring to our USD bank account.
Confirm with your bank that they will send the transfer in (USD for this example) to avoid unexpected conversion charges.
Disclaimer: This applies to customers of Rain Management WLL, the entity operating in Bahrain only.
Turkiye: For our users in Turkiye, the fee policy of the bank they use for transfers applies. We recommend that users in Turkiye contact their bank for more detailed information.
If at any stage you have a question about bank transfers or require assistance, our support team is available around the clock to help you.
